One of our long-standing clients is McLaren Packaging, a small Scottish based packaging company that has been involved in a hugely competitive market for 30 years. The company produces packaging for a variety of products but is widely recognised for its premium packaging of whisky bottles.
Tartan Silk has worked with McLaren Packaging on a project by project basis for some time but, since our initial project, the packaging company has achieved enormous success in diversifying its company into new product lines as well as discovering new customer markets.
Their recent success was a result of McLaren Packaging’s investment into high graphics flexoprinting, which enabled their packaging to be used on round and shaped composite tubes of whisky. This aspect of the business was unique to McLaren Packaging. The technology was highly acclaimed throughout the industry which was reflected in an array of prestigious awards which came the way of the company.
Tartan Silk worked with the company to identify its unique selling point (USP) and, through our strong links with national media networks, publicised its business achievements. This has given McLaren the competitive edge in its field and raised the company’s profile to previous untouched markets.
