Captain Nick Bates

Captain Nick Bates retired in 2010 after 45 years at sea, which ended with two years in command of the largest liner ever built, Cunard's Queen Mary 2.

He is now a raconteur and has already proved a hit on the after dinner speaking circuit in the UK and abroad.
