Seafood Scotland

Tartan Silk was asked by Seafood Scotland to promote the fact the 200th tonne of rubbish was being removed from the North Sea as part of the International Fishing for Litter Campaign.

We contacted key print and broadcast journalists, supplied them with an initial press release outlining the event and inviting them to a photocall at Peterhead Harbour to witness the rubbish being brought ashore.

Interviews with fishermen and officials were arranged and, as a result, we secured substantial local and national television, radio and print coverage for both the campaign and Seafood Scotland.
