Singer Charlotte Gordon Cumming has spoken of the overpowering moment when a friend offered to donate her kidney after undergoing secret blood tests. "She turned around to me and said: "Ive had all these tests done, I'm the same blood group, and I want to give you a kidney". Ms Cumming has had to have dialysis three times a week for the past four years and pays an emotional tribute to her kidney donor in this article!
