Edinburgh set for white Christmas
Mon 13 Dec, 2010 // Jeremy BoneIt has been a very disruptive few weeks in Edinburgh with snow falling accross Scotland and today reports say that snow will cover most of the country on December 25 giving Britain its second white Christmas in a row.
Forecasters predict we will wake up on Christmas morning to pristine snow left by a heavy fall with London, Scotland, the north and the south-east all set to be hit by freezing cold winds from the arctic.
The last official white Christmas was in 2009, when snow was widespread across Northern Ireland, Scotland, parts of Wales, the Midlands, north-east and far south-west England.
