The Kist is Fiona Kennedy’s powerful new production – a showcase not only of truly outstanding young singers and musicians, but award winning special guests. The Kist celebrates the legacy of Scotland’s musical tradition – all that is still rooted firmly at home, and all that has been scattered throughout the world, distilling everything into one potent, moving show. The Kist is now treasured and ready to travel, it is a show that celebrates Scotland’s rich musical tradition, and the influences that the Scots had on music around the globe.
