Tartan Muse - January 2011
Tue 11 Jan, 2011 // Tartan SilkWELCOME to 2011 and the first edition of our new blog ‘Tartan Muse’.
This is a chance for all our clients, past and present, to catch up on the changes and developments at Tartan Silk PR over the past year. As the old Bob Dylan classic goes ‘The Times They Are A’Changing’, which basically sums up life here at Tartan Silk HQ over the past few months.
We celebrated our 14th birthday at the start of the year and, like any young teenager, we are full of verve and ready to take on the world anew. It’s been all go over the past few months and we’re taking the business in a new and exciting direction.
One of the major internal changes is the appointment of Business Development Manager Jeremy Bone, who joined us after spending three years promoting a major golf and residential development in Bahrain.
Our shining star from the (Middle) East, Jeremy has a wealth of experience in public relations and the new business sector. He adds a new dimension to the existing team – MD Martin Hunt, Senior Account Executive Lee Simpson and Account Executive Bronagh Goan – and is looking forward to moving forward with Tartan Silk in 2011.
Our resident wordsmith Lee is also going back to her journalistic roots to offer our clients a dedicated copywriting service, covering every aspect of written promotional material. So if you’re struggling to find the time to get those ezines, newsletters, company brochures, magazines or any other piece of writing that will take your PR campaign to a new level then let Lee work her literary magic for you.
We are also now offering a dedicated event management service to provide tailored events of all sizes, from a small lunch gathering or company awards ceremony to a product or parliamentary launch. We can take the stress out of it all by arranging catering, drinks packages, lighting and AV equipment, photography and, given our expertise in PR, can provide targeted pre and post publicity.
PR is changing and we’re changing with it, which is why our digital package is already attracting a lot of attention from present and potential clients. We can offer website design, social media marketing, pay per click campaigns, online stores, email marketing campaigns and search engine optimisation tailored to suit you.
With all these changes it also made sense to give our city centre office a chic new makeover for the new year. So, if you’re in the area why not pop in for a chat, coffee and a catch up and see for yourself.
